It sounds awkward and the device looks stupid, but once you get used to it, it feels most natural. It doesn't do any 3D vision like Oculus Rift, but I'd guess there is not such a risk of a headache either. For anyone serious with racing titles, flight sims, ArmA, etc, TrackIR is a real game changer. To zoom the view, you move your head a little bit forward.

To look around you in the game, you turn your head a little bit. For anyone willing to consider 100€ on a gadget like a throttle or rudder panels, but not willing to spend on the Oculus Rift, there is a device I'd warmly recommend, and which should be in the list. For anyone not familiar with TrackIR, it is a device used for controlling the viewing direction (camera) by moving your head. A geek gotta love all the gizmos here, and they might (or might not) even have an impact on the SC experience. So, I decided to make a guide with the hardware information I found related to Star Citizen.
